TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed in kidney. POLYMORPHISM: Three variant forms of isoform 1 (A, B and C) are expressed in the kidney. All three variant forms have similar nucleoside transport activity. SIMILARITY: Belongs to the concentrative nucleoside transporter (CNT) (TC 2.A.41) family.
