RHOA — WNT1

Pathways - manually collected, often from reviews:

  • OpenBEL Selventa BEL large corpus: Complex of DVL2-RHOA → WNT1 (increases) Habas et al., Cell 2001
Evidence: Since Daam1 binds to Dvl and RhoA, we tested whether Daam1 forms a ternary complex with Dvl and RhoA. We immunoprecipitated the endogenous RhoA from 293T cells treated with or without Wnt-1 CM. Strikingly, we found that the endogenous Dvl protein is associated with RhoA only upon Wnt stimulation (Figure 2G).
  • OpenBEL Selventa BEL large corpus: RHOA → WNT1 (increases, WNT1 Activity) Habas et al., Cell 2001
Evidence: Surprisingly, Wnt-1, which has been studied primarily in ?-catenin signaling, activates RhoA and Rac, but not Cdc42 (Figure 1B).
  • WikiPathways Hypothetical Craniofacial Development Pathway: WNT1 → RHOA (activation)

Text-mined interactions from Literome

Shi et al., Mol Cell Biol 2006 : Noncanonical Wnt/Fz signaling activates RhoA and Rac, and the latter triggers the activation of c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK)
Tsuji et al., Mol Biol Cell 2010 (Neuroblastoma) : WGEF, a member of the Rho-guanine nucleotide exchange factor ( Rho-GEF ) family, was shown to play a role in Wnt induced RhoA activation in Xenopus embryos ... However, it has remained unknown which member ( s ) of a Rho-GEF family are involved in Wnt/Dvl induced RhoA activation in mammalian cells
Oshida et al., J Appl Toxicol 2011 : A DNA microarray analysis showed that the IGF-1 receptor signaling was most closely related to the above testicular toxicity induced by emodin, and the RhoA regulation , TGF/WNT and cytoskeletal remodeling, TNFR1 signaling and adenosine A2A receptor signaling were commonly associated with the two chemicals
Zhu et al., J Cell Sci 2012 : This nuclear p120-catenin-Kaiso signaling is associated with activation of RhoA-ROCK signaling, destabilization of microtubules and inhibition of Hippo signaling, but not with activation of Wnt-ß-catenin signaling
