CD40 — CTLA4
Text-mined interactions from Literome
Pioli et al., J Immunol 2000
:
Our results show that
CD40 or LPS stimulation in the presence of IL-4
induces CTLA-4 expression in purified B cells ; the maximum level is reached in both membrane and intracellular compartments after 48-72 h. Engagement of the B cell CTLA-4 by immobilized mAb inhibits IgG1 and IgE production and reduces the frequency of IgG1- and IgE expressing B cells
Fallarino et al., J Immunol 2002
:
Remarkably, the activation of
CD40 on DCs under conditions that would increase Th1 cell proliferation, also
resulted in down-regulation of surface
CTLA-4
Ding et al., Shock 2004
(Sepsis) :
In peritoneal cells, the expression of
CD40 , CD80, and CD86 was unchanged, but their respective ligands CD40L, CD28, and
CD152 all
increased in mice 24 h after CLP, although no such change was observed in splenocytes
