GAP43 — NTF3
Text-mined interactions from Literome
Young et al., J Neurosci Methods 1999
:
The
effects of nerve growth factor (NGF),
neurotrophin-3 (NT-3) and brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) on
GAP-43 immunoreactivity in dissociated primary cultures of rat and chick dorsal root ganglia have been compared to results obtained by cell counting
Ramer et al., J Neurosci 2001
(Disease Models, Animal...) :
Intrathecal
NT-3 , delivered at the time of injury,
promoted an upregulation of the growth associated protein
GAP-43 primarily in large-diameter sensory profiles ( which did not occur after rhizotomy alone ), as well as regeneration of cholera toxin B-labeled sensory axons across the DREZ and deep into the dorsal horn
Schwyzer et al., Eur J Neurosci 2002
(Synaptic Transmission) :
Furthermore,
NT-3 and NT-4/5
induced an up-regulation of the growth associated protein
GAP-43 , suggesting that neurotrophins may be able to induce axonal reorganization in established neuronal networks
